I am not a poet, but in early October “the fall feeling” comes, and I know it is time to write poems. You can find a few here: Poems. I long for fall.

I met Judy Chibante in college, knew her through the years in education circles, and had time to catch up at a college reunion. Judith has written a chapbook containing marvelous poems—poems that give you windows into her life. I read the poems twice when I first purchased the chapbook and am reading them for the third time a year later. These beautiful poems are not trivial. Their depth makes them stand the test of time. This morning I reread “Finished Business.” The vision moved me to silent tears once again.

The chapbook book is only available in print and is a little expensive. I have not regretted purchasing a copy for one minute. I highly recommend Radio in the Night.

I spent my life teaching 6th graders. We have always been involved in church. Now I spend my days in an old stone house, wandering our four acres, and writing.
